2008 STAR SPANGLED SPECTACULAR
FREEDOM 5K FUN RUN/WALK

July 4th   9AM   Faurot Park, Lima OH

Headquartered at The Rotary Pavilion

This year's SSS Freedom 5K will be here before ya' know it...Be sure to get pre-registered to guarantee a t-shirt & goody bag (see registration details below)

(OVERALL MALE AND FEMALE WINNERS FROM LAST YEAR...MELISSA SINNING & JUSTIN DICKMAN's entries are NO CHARGE)

Here's this year's new t-shirt design...click shirt for a close-up

As always, the race is dedicated to our military men/women both active and retired and they will receive special recognition.

It is the honor of the SSS Freedom 5K to recognize all men & women who are or have served in our country's armed forces in all conflicts all over the world. They have earned our deepest gratitude for their bravery and sacrifice to keeping this great country free.

Our course route is changed ever so slightly...the starting line is at the actual corner of Lakewood and Cole Streets, rather that back closer to the cannon like in the past years, so the finish line will come up just a little farther into Faurot Park. This is to accomodate our ever-expanding crowd!! Click COURSE MAP below to check it out.
